The dance form has survived many a millennia, ahe is a temple dance referenced in what's considered to be the blueprint for the arts, the Natya Shastra. With the Sikh and Hindu festival of Diwali falling from 11th to 15th November this year, what better way to celebrate the 'festival of light' than to immerse yourself in a traditional Indian dance form typically performed at Diwali festivals? Learn about the grace, precision and expressiveness needed to really bring the performance alive!
Please remember to wear comfortable clothing, as the workshop will involve a lot of movement. Water will be provided on the day, and you will also receive a Theatrefullstop gift bag.
