Food of War Launch Event

The Food of War Collective is proud to launch its first UK show exploring the way we eat with the way we fight. Three artists from diverse backgrounds invite you to taste the political flavour of wars through contemporary art, tapas and music.

From photographs about the Ukrainian conflict, to sugar cane paintings depicting the Colombian Farmers Strike in 2013, this show places Food in the spotlight. Installations, videos and dishes from the Spanish Civil War, the Italian Mafia conflicts and the Hummus Wars are presented in this unique event where the audience will experience a variety of flavours and views on different conflicts around the world and the way they influence on what we eat.
