The Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (MFPA) is set to launch a unique, free art exhibition at the Camden Image Gallery, featuring just the mouth or foot of British icons from the worlds of sport, music and entertainment. A compelling feature of this collection is that each piece of art has been created by disabled artists who themselves are only able to paint by holding a brush with their mouth or foot.

This first of its kind exhibition turns the traditional portraiture genre on its head through its innovative focus on just the mouth or the foot. Paintings on display include the dazzling smile of singer Alesha Dixon, created by Alison Lapper MBE; the magic boot of Jonny Wilkinson by Ian Parker, the dancing feet of Strictly Come Dancing’s Anton Du Beke by Katrina Gardner and the mouth of Grammy Award nominated, multi-platinum singer Susan Boyle by Rosaleen Moriarty-Simmonds OBE.

The free exhibition has also attracted the participation of other celebrities including comedian Sean Lock, cricketer Geoffrey Boycott and singer KT Tunstall, well-known for their specific talents using either their mouth or their foot.
The free exhibition will be open to the public from Tuesday 6th October- Sunday 11th of October from 12:00-19:00 daily at Camden Image Gallery

Further details will be released in due course including the full celebrity and artist line up.
