Oxford House in Bethnal Green invites you to visit its latest exhibition, centred on the new heritage project that will take place over the next 2 -3 years.

After a recent Round 1 pass from the Heritage Lottery Fund towards a £1.9m project, there have been some exciting developments at Oxford House, and we want to give you a feel for what it is all about!

Visit the gallery space between 7th September and 16th October, and you will have the opportunity to explore and have your say in the future of this historic organisation. ‘From Victorian Gap Year to Community Hub’ presents a story of the past, present and future of Oxford House.
The exhibition sets our plans to carry out much needed repairs to an ageing Victorian building including our hidden Chapel and improvements such as a new and larger café (with outdoor seating), new entrance from Derbyshire Street and a proposed roof walk. Visitors can also expect to discover the rich history of Oxford House and Bethnal Green and our plans to share the stories of 130 years of pioneering social reform and community action. It also illustrates learning and volunteering opportunities the project will offer.

Most importantly, we need you to tell us what you think of our ideas. So, come along and share your views on what you would like to learn, see and do in Oxford House!
