The Wunderkammer

The Wunderkammer is back. Fresh from the show’s US debut, summer festival fun at Green Man, and a UK improv first live-satellite link-up to iO Chicago for Slapdash Festival, Do Not Adjust Your Stage’s (DNAYS) night of improv comedy inspired by guest expert speakers returns to the Nursery Theatre for the new season.

The Wunderkammer brings together TED-style talks from experts, enthusiasts and inspiring speakers, with improv comedy from one of the UK’s leading groups DNAYS. Neither the audience nor performers have seen the talks before, making for a unique evening of discovery and laughs!

Guest speakers this month:

IDIL SUKAN – Comedy fans will be familiar with Idil’s amazing portraits of legendary performers adorning the national press and Edinburgh’s esteemed billboards. Tonight she swaps the camera for boxing gloves for her take on pugilism. Seconds out.

MATTHEW SMITH – Matthew is a political risk analyst specialising in piracy and kidnap for ransom. He’ll be giving an overview of the global picture, so you can plan your next holiday in peace.
