Jeremy O’Donnell has drunk tea and performed comedy in cities from Beijing to Zurich, and now reveals tea’s dark past - from its discovery five thousand years ago, to Cutty Sark, an arranged Royal wedding and the Boston Tea Party.

We are a nation of tea drinkers – drinking 60 billion cups a year. We drink more tea than all other manufactured drinks (coffee, coke, beer) put together. But what do we know about tea? Aside from where to find it in the supermarket and the optimum time required for the perfect dunk, very little.

The humorous show covers tea’s health benefits, has some speech writing advice for David Cameron, and tries to answer the greatest unanswered question of them all… Is it milk in first or second?
