Parallel is a new quarterly women's magazine that focuses on life through a feminist lens. Liberating and empowering, it talks about activism and achievements, and features strong women who are really making a difference in this world. It is intersectional in its content, discussing race, gender, sexuality, and disability. Parallel consists of a group of 25 volunteers and was funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2014. It is compiled almost entirely over the internet, with the team using Facebook and emails as a medium through which to communicate.

Founded a year ago, Parallel is celebrating its one year anniversary with an unashamedly feminist fundraiser featuring some of our favourite British female musicians. Come and join the Parallel team for our first birthday and help us raise money for next year's print costs. Parallel is funded by the people, for the people, and contains no advertising whatsoever, so we need your help to keep running.
