Celebrated choir The Sixteen return to perform sumptuous music inspired by the nativity in the stunning surroundings of Christ Church Spitalfields.

Focusing on the relationship between the Virgin Mother and the infant Christ, they contrast serene sounds of renaissance polyphony including Robert Parsons’s sublime Ave Maria with the dramatic intensity of more contemporary works, featuring music by Tallis, Byrd, James MacMillan and Tavener’s tender The Lamb.
