The Melos Sinfonia kicks off its 2015-16 season with a thrilling programme that includes the latest work from up-and-coming Israeli composer Na'ama Zisser, alongside Mahler's five exquisite Rückert-Lieder and Beethoven's fiery Seventh Symphony.

For the Mahler, the Melos Sinfonia is joined by Ross Ramgobin, one of the most exciting young baritones of his generation, whose recent highlights include the title role in Owen Wingrave at the Aldeburgh and Edinburgh Festivals, Belcore in L’elisir d’amore at the Verbier Festival, and Arasse Siroe in Re di Persia at the International Handel Festival, Göttingen.
