From 17 November, Somerset House will be transformed into the ultimate winter destination, signalling the start of the festive season.
Enjoy memorable winter experiences on and off the ice. By day, skate in the splendour of the stunning Somerset House courtyard, or join us after dark, when the rink hosts some of the best international clubs and festivals at exclusive Club Nights.
This year Somerset House presents an all-new line-up of Club Nights, with DJs from internationally renowned festivals, clubs, record labels and radio stations taking to the rink-side booth. The ice-rink will be transformed into a dance-floor with sounds from the likes of Green Man Festival; London crazy golf venue, Swingers; Ministry of Sound’s 25th Birthday Party, and a special night in tribute to DJ Derek.
For the first time, Somerset House will collaborate with Morning Gloryville to bring their distinctive brand of dawn disco dancing parties to the ice. Skaters will have a chance to ‘rave their way into the day’ in a one-off series of early-morning skate sessions on 30 November.
EFG London Jazz Festival will return to host a Sunday afternoon Jazz Skate on 20 November, providing a soundtrack of smooth and soulful jazz with live instrumentals.
