Oval Space Cinema x Songkick presents Sigur Ros' Heima

Oval Space Cinema and Songkick launch their live music film series with one of the most breathtaking music docs of the last decade.

Heima tracks Sigur Ros on a unique tour of Iceland in 2006, playing unannounced shows in alien and remote locations. Having conquered the world with Takk in 2005, the band returned home to embark on an extraordinary string of shows; a soul-searching journey that would be impossible for any band - even Sigur Ros - to replicate today.

Behind stunning performances in unique venues, Heima offers intimate reflections of an international band returning home and taking stock of their roots.

Oval Space Cinema and live music startup Songkick are excited to have this new music film series taking over the East London venue this autumn.

Three specially curated screenings will take place at Oval Space through October and November, aimed to spark conversations about the live experience and how it’s captured on film.
