Salsa Rapido Improvers One Day course at bar Salsa. Four hours of intensive tuition get you into the freestyle flow of intermediate salsa dancing. For those just out of beginners or rusty club dancer.

Beginners classes too easy? Not yet the salsa dancer you know you can be? Or maybe you've been out of the salsa scene for a while, or just want a refreshingly different take on salsa tuition?

The Salsa Rapido i.2.i - Improvers to Intermediate course is just for you.
Doors open at 11am and the course runs from 11.30am until 5pm.

We start with a warm up and basic Salsa Rapido® framework, which introduces/ reinforces core concepts of event led salsa dancing. The focus is on clear leading and following skills, developing confident and considerate body language, building a rapport with your partner and getting into the freestyle flow. All techniques apply to all regional styles so you can dance salsa with anyone from anywhere.

After the lunch break, we get into the theme of the day or 'Flavour'. At improvers level there is so much to do that it becomes useful to group similar techniques or 'flavours'. It doesn't matter which order you take the i2i Flavours. None are suitable for absolute beginners.

The course is led by Alastair Sadler, who uses his 20 years of salsa teaching, wit and passion for teaching to help you break through this stage into the world of freestyle salsa dancing.

Salsa Rapido i2i Big Combos Flavour.
So often in salsa, moves are presented in big combinations or combos. From You Tube clips to salsa classes at salsa congresses, big combos are the 'standard packaging' of repertoire.
This course will give you big combos! (I think you probably guessed that!) but also for leaders:
How to remember moves and make them danceable straight after the class.
Bringing a routine up to standard for stage, tv, competitions and (dare I say it) a wedding dance.
Most importantly, making the combo your own.
Followers: How to affect the flow of the combo.
How to interpret within the music within the combo.
