The Big Issue Foundation's 20th Birthday Party

Paint the town RED in celebration of 20 years of The Big Issue Foundation!

The Big Issue Foundation, the charity that supports Big Issue vendors, turns 20 this October and is holding a special party to mark the occasion! The party is open to all, supporters old and new, to join with the charity and raise glasses and funds during a night of fun at Fire, South London's favourite underground venue.

There will be fabulous drinks, great music, fantastic live entertainment and the brilliant feeling of knowing that your night out is supporting people who deserve a hand up. All proceeds from this event with go towards the work of The Big Issue Foundation as they provide vital support to Big Issue vendors who are working hard to rebuild their lives.

As always with our parties, the theme will be to wear something red, and it could be anything! If you fancy it, be bold in a red dress or suit, or be subtle with some red socks or even underwear, the choice is yours!

It's a great opportunity to enjoy a night out with friends and colleagues knowing that you are supporting a helping hand for people who are already helping themselves by selling The Big Issue.

The Foundation supported over 2,200 vendors last year as they sold their magazines and improved lives. Vendors make a personal choice to work their way out of poverty, taking charge of their finances and sales whilst developing basic business skills. During this transformative period The Big Issue Foundation helps vendors to make life changing steps forward with their housing, health, money management and aspirations. Helping them to find their own paths as they journey away from homelessness.

This year the party is being held in association with Salt, a specialist digital recruiter that represents everything that is innovative and emerging in the digital world.
