Benjamin Warner: Cornwall & London

Beside The Wave will be hosting a solo exhibition unlike any its held before as ‘Benjamin Warner: Cornwall & London’, a highly anticipated new collection by one of the gallery’s most collected artists, opens simultaneously in both its Cornwall & London galleries.

In light of Beside the Wave opening it’s second space, Beside the Wave London, in Primrose Hill, painter Benjamin Warner has produced an impressive collection of two halves: one in the city and one by the sea. The new work will be split between the two galleries for the artist’s annual solo show, both opening their doors on the exhibition at 10am on Saturday 3rd October.

In London, the Thames has been a source of constant inspiration for Warner, having lived in London for 14 years, after graduating from Falmouth Art School. In watching the river, you get the sense that Warner is at times casting both a contemporary eye and an ancient light on the modernity that is 21st century London.
