From Golden Delicious to Granny Smith, apples of all shapes and sizes – not to mention juices, ciders, spirits and chutneys – will be celebrated on Wednesday 21 October, Britain’s National Apple Day.
Our three-course dinner will show how this versatile fruit can be used to complement fish and meat, as well as starring in a delicious dessert. On the menu will be cured salmon with apple and verbena puree and honey and cider rye, smoked filled and braised cheek of Gloucestershire Old Spot pork with pickled apple and cider and mustard jus and an iced apple and Calvados parfait.
The Apple Supper Club can be booked at 6pm or 8pm for £30 per person, including three-course dinner and glass of wine on arrival.
