Jason Byrne has been thrilling crowds with his unique style for 20 years and today announces a brand new UK tour for autumn 2015, ‘20 Years A Clown’. The tour starts on 1st October at Colchester Arts Centre. Tickets for the new tour are on sale now.

Jason said: ‘I’ve been doing the comedy circuit for 20 years and I enjoy it more than ever. I’m really looking forward to getting back out on the road; this show will be more energetic and more fun than ever before!’
Byrne’s very own brand of organised chaos and near legendary stock-in-trade audience participation has seen him coined “the outright king of live comedy” by The Times. It is no surprise that he is the biggest selling comedian at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he has celebrated 20 years.

It’s been a busy few years for Jason. In addition to his extensive touring worldwide, his Radio 2 show was awarded the UK Radio industry’s prestigious Sony Radio Gold Award. Jason has recently hosted a brand new studio based comedy chat show ‘Jason Byrne’s Snaptastic Show’ for TV3 in Ireland and is co-presenter for a new wildlife-themed entertainment programme ‘Wild Things’ on Sky 1 in the UK.

His TV appearance credit list is endless. It includes his memorable performance at the 2013 Royal Variety Performance, The Graham Norton Show, Live at the Apollo on BBC1 , his own show, Anonymous in Ireland and BBC 1’s John Bishop Christmas Show in 2014. Byrne is also a highly sought after TV regular in Australia. He appears on the prestigious Melbourne International Comedy Festival televised galas and The Great Debate every year, as well as Network Ten’s The Project and NZ’s top-rating 7Days on TV3. He has also released three live DVDs including his latest, Special Eye Live.
