Relying On A Spiritual Guide - Buddhist Meditation Event

‘Just as in our ordinary education we need to rely upon the help of well-qualified teachers to guide us from the level of nursery school to the completion of college or university training, so in the spiritual training that leads to full enlightenment we need to rely upon a well-qualified Spiritual Guide’, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

Buddha explained that reliance on a Spiritual Guide is the root of the spiritual path and the foundation of all our inner good qualities. In this day event Kadam John McBretney will explain the importance of relying upon a qualified Spiritual Guide and how through this reliance we can make swift spiritual transformation and solve all of our problems. Kadam John is the Resident Teacher of Heruka KMC. He has studied and practised Kadampa Buddhism for more than 20 years under the guidance of his Spiritual Teacher Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

Anyone can attend this event. It is suitable for all levels. There are breaks in between sessions and a vegetarian lunch is included. Everyone is welcome.
