Strawberry and Chocolate (Spanish: Fresa y chocolate) is a Cuban-Spanish-Mexican co-produced film, directed by Tomás Gutiérrez Alea and Juan Carlos Tabío, based on the short story "The Wolf, The Forest and the New Man" (in Spanish, El Lobo, el bosque y el hombre nuevo) written by Senel Paz in 1990. Senel Paz also wrote the screenplay for the film.
The Bernie Grant Arts Centre Screening Lounge is an independent cinema in the heart of Tottenham. The Lounge seats up to 36 people and is run by The Bernie Grant Arts Centre, which operates as a charity and social enterprise for the local community.
Our versatile multi-purpose space doubles as a dance studio, serves as a meeting room for hire and on Wednesday’s transforms into a cosy Jazz bar.
As a cinema we hosts screenings Thursday to Sunday every week with screenings from 7:30 Thursday to Saturday and 4pm on Sundays. And, every Wednesday our lounge becomes a cosy Jazz bar.
