Whose Mind Is It Anyway?
Thursday 12 November at 18:30
The Broadway, Barking

Studio 3 Arts is delighted to present Whose Mind Is It Anyway?, a new hip-hop theatre show from the award-winning arts company Big Deal and its critically acclaimed dance event 3Style Friday. Whose Mind Is It Anyway? performs at the Broadway Barking on Thursday 12 November at 6.30pm

Featuring a variety of spoken word, comedy, dance (krump, hip-hop, contemporary) and an original soundtrack by local artists, the performance will interrogate a number of poignant questions in diverse and powerful ways. These include How FREE are we?, Who decides how we live our life? and How do we really know what’s going on in the world?.

This will be a truly special and rare opportunity to enjoy a diverse collection of work from a variety of talented musicians, choreographers, actors and artists from across the borough of Barking & Dagenham. Featuring work by Jade Hackett, Ashley J Francis, Liza Vallance, Rachael Alleyne, Brian Taylor aka ‘Braceman’, Oribi Davies, John Akinde, Claire Hough aka Shortie Buck, Big Deal Young Actors Company, Big Deal Dance Collective and the winners of 3StyleFriday this October! Plus, some special guests to be announced!

Studio 3 Arts Artistic Director Liza Vallance added “We’re really excited to be returning to the Broadway this November to showcase some of Barking & Dagenham’s hottest talent. We believe it is really important that emerging artists get the opportunity to perform their work in a professional setting, as it encourages them to work to high standards and they get to understand the demands of the professional world”.

Don’t miss out on this innovative performance piece by the next generation of theatre pioneers in London, you won’t be disappointed!
