Wandsworth Heritage Service will hold a free historical fiction writing workshop on 16th November from 6pm - 9pm.

The event will take place at the Service and forms part of the national Explore Your Archive programme of events.

The workshop will be hosted by bestselling historical fiction author Sophia Tobin, author of Sunday Times bestseller The Silversmith’s Wife and The Widow’s Confession, published in January this year.

During the workshop, attendees will participate in a unique writing exercise inspired by items selected from the extensive archives collection at the Service.

Participants will also receive feedback on their writing from Sophia and their fellow participants.

The workshop is free, but limited to a maximum of 12 participants, so those wishing to attend are asked to submit a short writing sample of between 100 and 150 words to demonstrate their interest in writing. The registration deadline is 12pm Monday, 2nd November.
