UrbanExplorer presents a screening of That Sugar Film for families with children aged 8+ at the Royal Geographical Society in Kensington on Saturday, 7th November. The screening will be followed by a QandA and discussion with a panel of doctors, nutritionists and healthy eating experts.
Damon Gameou, documentary maker will be on the panel along with cardiologist Dr Aseem Malhotra, who is also a member of Action on Sugar trying to get 'big food' and government to change their stance and acknowledge the damage done by all the sugar unnecessarily added to food. BBC food presenter and cook Merrilees Parker, the lovely Hemsley + Hemsley sisters are joining us as well, Lizzie King, nutritionist and founder of Vitalove, healthy, organic children's food, and nutritionist / founder of Wild Nutrition Henrietta Norton.
This is an opportunity for families to discuss and question the experts on the facts and on ways to reduce their overall sugar intake. A life-changing event.
