Shorts in the South | November 2015

Shorts in the South is a brand new quarterly event hosted by Stanley’s Film Club, showcasing work by filmmakers who work out of, or demonstrate a commitment to, communities in South East London. The initiative will aim to provide a hub for filmmakers, as well as an opportunity for film lovers to discover local talent.

Come and join us for the very first of these events – enjoy an eclectic mix of shorts, animations and music videos, and stay for a drink with the filmmakers after the show!

Experience unforgettable cinema in South Norwood’s beautiful Grade II listed Stanley Halls. On the first Wednesday of every month, Stanley’s Film Club screens an eclectic variety of film genres including cult classics, new releases, documentaries, animation and shorts, often with a nod towards local heritage.

Come along and enjoy quality cinema in our grand yet informal setting. Stanley's Film Club puts the magic and sense of occasion back into cinema-going and offers a welcoming space for film fans to come together, complemented by a bar serving craft beer and snacks.
