Carols by Candlelight 2015

Ronald McDonald House Guy's and St Thomas' are holding their 2015 annual carol service on 1 December in aid of supporting families with children in hospital.

The service will be full of Christmas cheer, complete with carols, festive readings and the lighting of the advent candle. 2015 confirmed performers are:
Emma Johnson, The Chorus of the ENO, London Welsh Rugby Club Choir, Sydenham High School Junior Choir and The Evelina Pride Group.

Each year an outstanding programme of performers, along with hundreds of supporters, visit St Martin in the Fields and light up Trafalgar Square with their Christmas spirit. And all in aid of an incredible cause.

Ronald McDonald House Guy’s and St Thomas’ provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation and support for families with seriously ill children being treated in the Evelina London Children’s Hospital and St Thomas’ Neonatal Wards. For 25 years they have helped thousands of families stay close together during some of the toughest periods of their lives.

When a child becomes critically ill, life feels like it stops overnight. Parents enter a world of worry and fear, and they will go to any length to get their child the medical care they need. At Ronald McDonald House Charities, we’re committed to helping families stay together when an ill child needs to heal and cope with their illness. Because being together during a time of crisis is not just a physical matter; it’s an emotional one.

We know there is no safer place than a parent’s hug. We know that no one can make an ill child laugh like his silly brother or sister. And we know that the healing process may be filled with heartache, frustration, and fear…but with Ronald McDonald House Charities, families can stay strong together.
