Are you ready to take on the ghastly Fleshlumpeater and his terrible giant friends to stop them guzzling human beans? Join the BFG and his sidekick Sophie as they concoct a marvellous plan to stop the giants from galloping all over the world to gobble up humans as they sleep.

Experience Sophie's wonder as she explores the BFG's life in Giant Country, his expertise in dream catching and his unique diet of disgusterous snozzcumbers and sweet, jumbly frobscottle.

In this family concert, Roald Dahl's much-loved story The BFG, adapted for performance by award-winning writer and Olivier nominee Hattie Naylor, will be brought to life by a special performer and the London Philharmonic Orchestra playing well-known pieces to support the action of this wonderful tale.

This concert is part of Southbank Centre’s Imagine Children’s Festival

Come and join the party!

Throughout the morning there are free musical activities around the building offering a fun and interactive way-in to the concert, and opportunities for children to ‘have a go’ at different orchestral instruments under expert instruction.
