An unforgettable experience of music and performance to celebrate 20 years of TIP amongst friends and family in London’s most intimate night spot.
TIP (The Infinity Project), one of the first Psychedelic Trance labels and is still going strong and we are delighted to welcome founder Raja Ram and resident DJ Lucas, who are themselves amongst the most loved and respected characters on the scene. Both artists are unique in what they do and have a broad international appeal that spans the generations.RAJA RAM is the ring master or some have said the “Godfather” of the Psychedelic Global Underground. He has inspired artists and enthralled audiences around the world for 40 years and counting. His projects and collaborations are numerous, including The Quintessence, The Infinity Project, The Zap! Shpongle and 1200 Micrograms. Raj was 70 in 2010… and he feels he is only just getting started!“I was born a trillion years ago and travelled here to earth as a small spore. Later I got a job as a ventriloquists dummy at a department store and then worked in a centipede farm as a chiropodist. I was arrested in Melbourne for self abuse at an early age, realising one day, while taking a bath that I had two ears and a human brain wasn”t that heavy, so I explored the unexplored and soon found that I was onto something…..”
LUCAS has been involved at the forefront of dance music since the early nineties. His style of techno music was found to crossover with the sounds being played in Goa in the early 90s and it was this that led him to get an opportunity to play at one of the early, now legendary TIP parties. These days Lucas is best known as a leading psy-trance DJ representing Raja Ram’s label TIP records globally with his unique driving UK sound touring as far afield as Europe, Russia, US, South America, Middle East, Asia and Australia.
