Jim Moray is an English folk singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist.

He first came to attention with his debut album 'Sweet England', released at the age of 21, which crashed the barriers of folk blending traditional music, electronica and neo-classical orchestration to startling effect. Over the subsequent twelve years he has proved to be one of the most inventive and unpredictable talents working with traditional material today, gaining awards and accolades for each step in his evolution as a producer and performer.

Jim will be performing a preview of songs from his next album Upcetera, due in early 2016. Accompanying him will be a string trio featuring members of the Doret Ensemble, who he previously teamed up with to play his album 'Sweet England' in full at the Union Chapel in 2013. This will be his first major show in London for two years, and the first glimpse of his new album of ballads.

Supporting Jim will be Tom Moore's Automatic Trio. Tom is well known as a member of BBC Radio 2 Folk Award Winners Moore Moss Rutter, new trio Oss, and False Lights with Jim Moray and Sam Carter. The Automatic Trio is an inventive solo project, using a mechanical cello and viola and live looping to accompany melodies and create permenantly-shifting soundscapes.
