Maz O'Connor, Ashley Condon and Lowri Evans perform a one-off show as part of a two year musical collaboration ad exchange with Music Prince Edward Island (PEI), the development agency for music on Prince Edward Island.

They will perform a specially created show in association with Music PEI and trac, blending traditional Canadian and English folk music crafted during a residency in the Lake District, alongside solo material. Maz O'Connor joined Canadian folk singer Ashley Condon in Atlantic Canada last year.

Maz O'Connor is a gifted singer of traditional and self-penned songs. In 2013 she was nominated for the BBC Folk Awards Horizon award and selected for a creative fellowship with EFDSS, funded by the BBC Performing Arts Fund.

Raised between two potato fields on Prince Edward Island, Ashley Condon is the grandchild of Bill Leblanc and has won audiences over with her larger-than-life stage presence and down-to-earth charm.

Lowri Evans is a singer from the heartland of Wales. Singing in English and Welsh with her partner Lee Mason, she explores the traditional themes of love, loss and redemption mixing traditional and her own material. She has toured the UK and the US and regular listeners to Bob Harris will have heard her performing “under the apple tree”.
