2015 is the 50th Anniversary of one of the most famous recordings in British jazz history - the late Stan Tracey's suite inspired by Dylan Thomas' Under Milk Wood.
This evening provides a unique opportunity to revisit this much-loved jazz landmark, and to celebrate a much-missed figure in British jazz. Stan’s son Clark Tracey leads the quartet, with Bobby Wellins (the saxophonist who appeared on the original recording), Andrew Cleyndert and Steve Melling. Ben Tracey (Stan’s grandson) will narrate Dylan Thomas' seminal work. The evening will also feature music from the Clark Tracey Quartet repertoire.
