Big Joanie
"Big Joanie are a black feminist punk band based in London, UK. Big Joanie formed to make powerful music but also to create a continuum for black punks by presenting a strong, powerful vision of black womanhood and talking about black punks who came before us. We're like The Ronettes filtered through 80s DIY and riot grrrl with a sprinkling of dashikis.
By making black punks more visible we believe we can inspire more young black punks to start the bands they always wanted to hear."

ARXX
"ARXX are a garage rock duo based in Brighton, originally from Wiltshire. "All pounding vocals and seductive drumming, or perhaps the other way around?” – (Brighton Noise)
ARXX are a Garage Rock duo based in Brighton, who broke on to the scene early 2014. Kate and Hannah marry together an eclectic range of influences stemming from punk, blues, soul, and garage rock."

Ay, Carmela!
"Ay Carmela! is a three piece DIY indie / punk band based in West London. The band started out as Carmela's solo project waaay before she joined Colour Me Wednesday, and gained its full line up when Laura (Block Fort, Emma Kupa, Damsel, and many other bands) and Jaca (Hands, Peanut Butler) joined on bass and drums."

Pretty Ugly
"Don't be a fooled in thinking that these girls are a simple Riot Grrl copy and paste act. With a mouth watering noise self dubbed as 'Crash, Bang, Pop!" They are much more and far beyond it. With influences including L7, Jane's Addiction, the Breeders and Pavement you know that the out come can only be one of pure enjoyment."

JUNK.
"JUNK. create short and sweet, jangly lo-fi rackets infectious, lovable tunes that ultimately don't take themselves too seriously." (- DIY magazine)
