Champagne tasting

We are heading towards Christmas, New Year and the festivity mood, which reminds me of our New Year's celebration.

It is also the time of the year when we show our Top Small Growers Champagne.

We can talk about Champagnes a lot, and we will, but when the time comes.

It is our biggest wine tasting of the year and this year, to make sure even the naughty kids get a gift, we are holding TWO sessions of the Champagne tasting.

This is a fantastic opportunity to taste top shelf natural Champagnes from small growers:

2. Agrapart & Fils, Les 7 Crus, Brut NV £48
3. Benoit Lahaye, Grand Cru, Blanc de Noirs Brut NV £52
4. Cédric Bouchard, Roses de Jeanne, Val Vilaine, Brut NV £54
5. Jérome Prévost, La Closerie, Les Béguines, Extra Brut NV £71

It's luscious and rare stuff that you don't find often in tastings.

These wines will be presented by myself (Victualler proprietor), and will be accompanied by our British cheeses, artisanal charcuterie, home baked sourdough bread and banter.

All of this for £42 per person and, this time, only that night, you can buy 3 bottles of your preferred Champagnes from the tasting with a 10% discount. So prepare early to get your Christmas presents.

The sessions will take place on 19 November and 02 December at 7.30pm. They are, respectively, a flower and a fruit day according to the biodynamic calendar so the wines should be extra delicious. We doubled your odds of attending but would still encourage you to book quickly if you are interested.

Otherwise, you can buy tickets at Victualler from 2pm to 11pm daily, but please be aware that places are limited so do not hesitate in order to avoid disappointment.
