James Acaster has announced his London West End theatre debut. The award winning comedian will be bringing his new show Represent to The Lyric this December. Focusing on James’s time spent during jury service for a murder trial. It is squaring up to be the hottest ticket of the Christmas season.

James has quickly established himself as one of the most distinctive and brilliant young comedians of his generation. He has notched up a plethora of award nominations, including Best Comedy Show at the 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 Edinburgh Fringe festivals and taking home the Best International Show Award at the 2014 New Zealand International Comedy Festival.

As well as his glowing stand-up career, James has made several television appearances with the likes of Have I Got News For You (BBC One), Mock The Week (BBC), 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Nevermind The Buzzcocks (BBC) and Russell Howards Good News (BBC Three), Dave’s One Night Stand (Dave), Chris Addison’s Show and Tell (E4), Live at The Comedy Store (Paramount), Sweat The Small Stuff (BBCThree). Radio appearances also including a regular guest spot on fellow comic Josh Widdicombe’s XFM show and writing and presenting his own show Findings for BBC Radio 4.
