The hottest pickers in London join forces to perform high-octane fiddle tunes with high lonesome vocals. They will blend sounds of country and blues with string band music and infuse it with the improvisational elements of jazz to create a sound all their own.

Ben Somers
Double bassist and vocalist Ben Somers, a member of Bluegrass favorites the Absentees, has played with everyone from Dr John to Bruce Molsky, from Dizzee Rascal to Seal. He's got a very impressive musical address book, and tonight he'll be appearing tonight with a selection of those musical friends- it could be New Orleans rhythm and blues, it could be honkytonk, it could be bluegrass, or a combination of all three. Whatever it is, it's guaranteed to be the highest quality.

Leanne Thorose
Violinist Leanne was born into a family filled with music – with both American and Irish roots. As well as regularly gigging on the Irish and Bluegrass circuit, she toured for 2 and a half years with the critically acclaimed show 'Essence of Ireland' and made an appearance with Michael Flatley's 'Lord Of The Dance' Her influences are Alison Krauss, Rhonda Vincent and Adam Steffey.

The Hot Rock Pilgrims are an old-time/bluegrass supergroup featuring some of the most exciting young pickers in the South East of England. Together they will take you on a high-energy pilgrimage of Appalachian music and its descendants.
