Simone will pay homage to classic movies, composers and artists that popularized the jazz standards we know and love today and unearth some forgotten treasures from the Hollywood archives! She performs the music of Ellington, Gershwin, Porter and Berlin as heard in Casablanca, High Society, Holiday Inn, De Lovely and Whiplash. Not forgetting songs made famous by the likes of Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Billy Holiday and Doris Day, these are just a few of the gems you'll re-discover in this nostalgic look at Jazz on Film!
