The Jamie Safiruddin Trio

Jamie Safiruddin is a 23 year old pianist, songwriter, arranger and keyboardist who recently was worked with Ian Shaw, Claire Martin, Stan Sulzmann, Will Young, Rebecca Ferguson, and Tony Christie.

Usually seen accompanying singers - as is his main love - tonight he will make a rare outing in the trio format, ably accompanied by the ubiquitous "rising-star".

Conor Chaplin on double bass and the supremely talented and versatile Will Glaser on drums. The Trio will play a mixture of music from The Great American Songbook and original pieces composed by Jamie, taking inspiration from folk, rock and classical music.
