The Funny Side of Soho Improv Night featuring Chrysalids

The Funny Side of Soho is hosted at Freedom Bar a stylish and sophisticated Bar and Club, located on Wardour Street, in the heart of London's Soho.

This Sunday's show is an Improv Special featuring Impro Central, The Rubiks and Chrysalids.

Chrysalids - "Sparklingly original" - The Arts Desk
Chrysalids present "The Haircut" or "The Barbershop Duet". Are you going on holiday this year? Doing anything nice at the weekend? How're the kids? Weathering an hour of tedious smalltalk, a visit to the hairdressers can be a conversational chore. From this point, two of the UK's finest improvisers abuse their psychic link for your amusement, unravelling and reweaving a whole host of memorable characters, imagined environments and poignant tales in a high-wire show of unscripted comedy. Slick, whip-smart, and with chemistry to burn.

The Rubiks - "No script, endless possibilities"
A fun, energetic mish mash mix of games, audience suggestions and narrative scenes. This ever changing line-up of talented peformers keep the comedy coming fast and furious. It has been said they have more bite than an angry ferret! Come along and experience the weird and wonderful improvised world of The Rubiks.

Impro Central - "Give them their own TV show" - Metro
Take some of London's best improvisers mix thoroughly, throw them in a pot and simmer for 25 minutes. Serve immediately and garnish with inspiration. A regularly changing line-up brings a fresh blend of games and scenes every show.
