With the festive season looming ever closer, Acoustic Sundays and 2 Fingers (London’s original fish finger bad boys) return to The Crypt, De Beauvoir on 6th December with a winter warmer of a showcase that will fill you with Yuletide cheer.

Expect a sensational Sunday of musical talent and Christmas craft pop-ups plus, to help keep the cold at bay, there’ll be a chance to get your mitt’s on a complimentary copy of SoundAdviceUK album ‘One’ as a special Christmas gift, showcasing a variety of memorable past performers.

Open-mic Session musicians will settle you in, followed by a toasty line-up, jam-packed with hand-picked musicians. We’ll then be joined by Sardinian guitar player, multi-instrumentalist and Independent Music Awards nominee (Cat. Best Instrumental Album) Roberto Diana, who returns to Acoustic Sunday as part of his 2015 UK tour. Modern and elaborate London trio Dah Rhyl Gah Moor will then be hitting the point where EDM meets Highlife on Kingsland Road – expect a luscious blend of hypnotic beats and soulful vocals.

Acoustic folk band Liz & the Lofty Things, as recommended by our audience bring musical storytelling with a passion for creative expression. Bal da Bourdon a new 4-piece band, perform original arrangements from France and Cornwall rich in melody and drama. Finally, the unexpected blues/folk band Cosmo House, provide cotton pickin’ guitar tactics, dynamic vocals and creative trumpet tunes.

Master of Ceremonies and award winning improv-comedian James Ross returns with sharing anecdotes and satire throughout the afternoon whilst juggling TGYM (The Golden Youth Movement), Brick City and Hackney Community Choir who will provide jaw-dropping vocal harmonies with an urban flavor in between the bands.

Street food pop-up sensation “2 Fingers” are, as ever, in search of the Holy Grail that is the ‘Ultimate Fish Finger Sandwich Experience!’ Whether you like yours Po$h or Old Skool or even want to swing both ways with the ingenious 50:50 - expect some serious 2 fingered lickin’ fun.

Sit back and raise your spirits with a glass of sloe gin on the rocks or lightly-spiced mulled wine with soothing undertones of cinnamon, clove and star anise, as well as wines and beers from our Sensibly Priced Pop-up-Bar.

Tis the season to be jolly so come all ye faithful to meet and mingle with the musicians, whilst rejoicing creativity in the community at our last Acoustic Sunday of 2015. On a mission to encourage support emerging local artists, free and accessible to all, join the party with mistletoe and wine on December 6th and bring peace, love and harmony to you and your kin.
