Continental Drifts; the producers of the most rocking festival stages across the globe, are excited to be back, joining forces once again with their long standing musical partners Movimientos, Wormfood, Two for Joy, Woodburner, Polka Club and some new ones Vibes and Pressure and Arts Canteen for the return of LONDON REMIXED FESTIVAL 2016.

London is a powerhouse of musical innovation and The London Remixed Festival brings you the finest selection for 2016. Showcasing the best in Latin Grooves, Afrobeats, Tropical Bass, Vintage-Remix, De-sert Remix, Balkan Beats, Urban Roots, Acoustic Soundclash and Brass Band Remix, we are kicking Global London into the future!

From the producers behind Glastonbury's legendary Shangri-La stage, via rocking tents at Bestival, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown, Wilderness, Lovebox and Kendal Calling, we bring you the best festival starter of 2016.

LONDON REMIXED FESTIVAL is a celebration of the best emerging musical talent and genres and will offer creativity, fun and madness, complete with buzzing atmosphere … but without the mud, rain or has-sle of camping! Expect performances from over 25 cutting edge bands and DJs, over 2 days and across 4 stages, all in one vibrant venue nested in the heart of Shoreditch.

This year’s headliners include Symphonica FT Mr Switch (a 20 piece symphonic orchestra meets DMC World DJ Champion!) 47SOUL (electronic Palestinian street music), K.O.G and the Zongo Brigade (Af-ro-Fusion), and Honeyfeet (Folk-hop & Barrellhouse-pop)! The London Remixed Festival is brought to you by some of the most dynamic festival organisers, venue promoters and music agencies the UK has to offer. LRF 2016 will offer the best festival experience; in-door camping areas to chill out and the return of the highly popular, fully converted, disco lift, to navigate between the stages! As well as the silent disco café!

Also for all the music makers out there, on Friday Continental Drifts have teamed up with CM Sounds (www.cmsounds.com) to offer a day of free ‘Remix Workshops’ at their school with professional music production tutors and established music producers. This is a unique opportunity to mingle with industry professionals and to gain tips on how to progress creatively. Along with sessions for beginners and intermediate remixers running throughout the day, there will be another Remix Speed Dating session for bands, producers and industry bodies to meet up and swap ideas and discuss future possible collaborations at Rich Mix.
