Ladies and Gentleman Cargo Culture is extremely delighted to announce that we’re going to be holding a free entry event at Cafe 1001 on Tuesday 26th January 2016.

It’s going to be an amazing gig so don’t, we’re back holding amazing events after a six month break.

Below is the line up for the night :

Boats in the Marina – 8pm – 8:25pm

Boats in the Marina is a collaborative project led by Marina Avetisyan, a London based, Russian born singer-songwriter

Her music is a blend of beautiful, sweet and mellow melodies with a dreamy, ethereal touch. Marina touches listeners with her distinctive, soulful voice and heart soothing lyrics . She combines different influences and styles incorporating her soft but powerful vocals, ballads, guitar, poetry into her work, creating a unique experience for the audience to dive into the space of sound, dreams and beauty.

Sarah De Warren – 8:30pm – 8:55pm

By the age of 18, de Warren had already gained a wealth of experience after performing live around her hometown Weymouth, and so moved to Manchester to begin her music career. Immersing herself in the vibrant music scene of the North West, de Warren began gigging several times a week and created a tangible buzz around her music.

For de Warren, working with producers is a key element to her music. Her work draws on electronic themes – comparable to the sounds of BANKS, Delilah, and Likke Li – resulting in a soulful, alt-pop vibe. Whether recorded or live, de Warren’s music is transcending with an abundance of personality which connects with the audience.

Having supported the likes of Andy Jordan, Far East Movement and Imperial Leisure, de Warren is set to break the scene with her own hard work and incredible sound.
