T’Pau were unarguably one of the most successful and biggest selling bands of the 1980s with huge hits like China In Your Hand, Heart and Soul and Valentine. Led by flame-haired singer Carol Decker, they rode the crest of a wave, enjoying a quadruple platinum number one hit with their debut album, Bridge Of Spies. The Brookside Theatre are proud to present an intimate audience in the company of one of the UK's most iconic '80's bands.

After a brief hiatus, the group reformed in 1998 and have been in high demand ever since. On this new tour audiences can look forward to hearing all of the band's greatest hits – as well as the stories behind them.

The tour coincides with the publication of Carol Decker’s autobiography, which will be published in January 2016. The book lifts the lid on the highlights and hang-ups of life in one of Britain’s most successful bands.

Fans can look forward to hearing music from T'Pau's extensive catalogue, from their 80's beginnings through to and including songs from their 2015 album, Pleasure and Pain. Carol will be performing stripped back and intimate versions of classics that have stood the test of time.

Carol said “This is something completely new. The fans can look forward to hearing all of the classic hits. But we’ll also be telling them the stories behind the songs. It’s going to be an amazing tour.”

T'Pau will be supported on stage by the exceptional singer / songwriter Michael Armstrong performing songs from his eponymous debut album, which has already spurned two radio hits, Allentown his cover of the Billy Joel classic, and his self penned The Radio Years. "Rock star!" - Sir Paul McCartney. "This guy is seriously good!" - Richard Madeley, BBC Radio 2.
