Late Night Laughs - Daphne, Jack Barry and host Ed Gamble

Peacock and Gamble Podcast's Ed Gamble is back for the second year as host of Late Night Laughs, tonight introducing hip young comedy troupe Daphne and comic Jack Barry.

Phil Wang, Jason Forbes and George Fouracres, collectively but not constantly known as Daphne, have been writing comedy together for nearly half a decade as lowly students, but it wasn't until September 2014 that they decided to make a go of it professionally. Since then they have won the Best New Act award at London SketchFest 2015 and a earned a Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination for Best Newcomer.

As a student, Jack Barry wrote and performed as part of the critically acclaimed Leeds Tealights from 2009-11, twice taking shows to the Edinburgh Festival, being named the best student sketch group at the 2010 Fringe. Since then he has found success as a solo comic, performing his distinctive brand of stand-up all over the country.
