Erik Bonino Shell UK Chairman Lecture - Free to Attend

Shell UK Chairman Eric Bonino will be delivering a free to attend lecture organised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Energy has a critical role in enabling a decent quality of life for people across the world, wherever they live. But our energy system is changing to meet greater demand and environmental stresses.

Erik Bonino, Shell UK Chairman, will discuss the challenge faced in the UK and globally, as we transition to a new energy system and a low carbon economy.

He will highlight the importance of innovation in new technologies and the critical role for scientists and engineers in delivering more energy with less CO2. Exploring the opportunities that a low-carbon economy will create, he will also consider the role for UK enterprise and entrepreneurs in accelerating the energy transition.
