The Water Poet’s famous St Patrick’s Day party returns this year in finer form than ever. Widely acknowledged to be one of London’s best pubs for Paddy’s Day, the Irish-owned Water Poet goes all out every 17th March, and this year is set to be the best ever.
With a serious day of drinking such as Paddy’s Day ahead, a good feed is a must. Go the distance with our menu of fabulous dishes showcasing the best of Irish produce- highlights include fabulous Carlingford rock oysters and celtic classics like bacon and cabbage.
There’ll be a mighty session in the garden as the legendary Black Velvet Band play the best of trad Irish tunes live. The Guinness Island makes a welcome return to the garden, so you don’t have to stray too far from the fiddle for a pint of the Black Stuff.
The incomparably boozy, fun atmosphere in The Water Poet will be fueled by a selection of the best new craft beers from breweries across the Emerald Isle and of course buckets and buckets of stout from a little Dublin brewery called Guinness.
As always, entry is free- last year there were queues to get in, so get down early and take Friday off!
