The B&H Handbook is presented by Clerkenwell’s popular all day Modern brasserie and bar, Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings. Ever committed to the intellectual prowess of their guests, Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings are continuing with their series of discussions hosted by industry experts. These informal and interactive sessions embrace different drinks at each event and furnish guests with a deeper knowledge of, greater intrigue for, the studied spirits. They will be taking place fortnightly on Tuesday evenings and will cover the below:
Spirit of Jamaica with Appleton and Wray & Nephew Rums- 12th April 2016
For 265 years, Wray & Nephew rum has been an integral part of every Jamaican’s life. This evening will give guests the opportunity to learn about over proof rum and its traditional uses in the Jamaican household. Multi-award winning rums of Appleton Estate will be available to sample. Blended from the finest aged rums selected by the world’s first female master-blender, these liquids are as rich and varied as the history of the island they come from.
