Turning Earth is London's largest co-work ceramics studio, based in railway arches in the Kingsland Viaduct in Hoxton. Opened in 2013, the studio is transforming ceramics in the capital, making it possible for hundreds of hobbyists and early-career professionals to take their making career seriously. With many of London's brightest emerging potters making it their base, the studio is a vibrant hub of innovation and creativity.

Each quarter, Turning Earth opens its doors to the public to give them the opportunity to see ceramic work in the place where it was made. Hundreds of people pour through the doors, keen to get their hands on pieces from some of London's most exciting new designer-makers at affordable prices. With live music from exciting Hackney-based bands and locally made artisanal food sold alongside beautiful plates, it's a great destination for a day's shopping. It 's also a sure way to buy ethically - every pot sold at Turning Earth has been made locally, by hand, by someone who loves what they do.

At the Easter Sale, Turning Earth's sixth sale to date, 40 artists will sell their work and demonstrate their making techniques, which include throwing on the potters wheel, hand-building and screen-printing. There will be delicious street food on sale and music from members of cult local band, The Turbans.
