Performance Workshop: Skinner Releasing Technique

Skinner Releasing Technique (SRT) led by Lizzy Le Quesne.

SRT develops deep physical releasing and interior expansion. Lizzy will teach an SRT class addressing alignment and exploration of the physical self using guided kinesthetic imagery, gentle hands-on partnerwork and freeform dancing. Suitable for all levels of movement experience.

Lizzy Le Quesne is an independent dance artist and writer, and certified teacher of SRT. Trained in classical ballet, fine art, choreography and somatics Lizzy works across media from a deeply embodied place. Her work is strongly influenced by Skinner Releasing Technique and its dedication to open, truthful, playful exploration and alignment. Lizzy performs internationally in diverse contexts and also with other artists including Rosemary Lee, Florence Peake, Tino Sehgal, Ricochet Dance Productions. Her writing is published in numerous art magazines, journals and books.
