ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE (OR A MICROPHONE…)

Lucky Voice gets ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day: other halves not essential

Fans of Lucky Voice karaoke bars will know that they don’t need any excuse to party, making Valentine’s Day no different.

Whether you’re Crazy in Love and want to sing it from the rooftops, or are still on the lookout for Someone to Love (bear with us, we’re hopeless romantics for a good pun), Love is All Around at Lucky Voice this Valentine’s.

If you’re a Two Becomes One kind of suitor, the ‘Meal for 2’ of two pizzas plus a sharer cocktail will be the icing on the cake, on special offer all day on Sunday the 14th. For those of you that haven’t tasted the delights of the A Horse with No Name cocktail before; think Reposado tequilla, white rum and Galliano, combined with lemon, apple and mango juice and sugar, not mention agosturra bitters and a dash of passion fruit syrup (well it is Valentine’s after all…).

Alternatively, if your beloved has a sweet tooth, treat them to a Truly Madly Deeply, a sumptuous chocolate raspberry martini, garnished with raspberries garnished in Belgian chocolate. They’re two for one for the whole of Valentine’s Weekend. After all, why would you restrict the fun to one day?

Cocktails and pizzas aside, the most important part of any night at Lucky Voice is undoubtedly the karaoke. Launch into a special Valentine’s playlist to melt even the hardest of hearts, featuring classics by Diana Ross and the Supremes, Stevie Wonder and Whitney Houston, alongside more recent crooners like Michael Buble, Rihanna and One Direction. If romance makes you want to run for the hills (yes we’ve heard about you people), simply skip the smooch and go for any of the other songs at your fingertips (may we suggest I Hate You by Kelis, for those of you nursing broken hearts?).

The best thing about Valentine’s Day at Lucky Voice is that it means fun, fun, fun, either with the apple of your eye (move over Kylie and Jason), or a gang of your single mates. So pop on your glad rags, delve into Lucky Voice’s dressing up box and grab a mike. It’s time to belt out Love Shack; you know it makes sense.

Two for one cocktails available Friday 12th – Sunday 14th February
