Sat May 07 - The South London Soul Train is seriously on and set to take no Prisoners. Jazzheadchronic welcoming the positively storming live 21st century jazz fused audio incinerating Lack Of Afro to The South London Soul Train stage.

Here for an epic journey deep inside the sounds of funked out, souled up Jazz, funk and beyond so much more across 4 floors at the CLF, Bussey.

Part of our on going, twice a month mission to seriously funk you up!

Lack Of Afro (Adam Gibbons) has achieved a startling amount in the few years since his first releases on Freestyle records. With four highly acclaimed albums under his belt, touring live and DJing across the world, and producing and remixing everyone from Tom Jones, The Pharcyde, The New Mastersounds through to Kraak & Smaak.

LOA has received huge support since the beginning from BBC Radio 1, Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music and has played multiple live sessions at Maida Vale studios in London. His tunes have been featured in TV and film in both the UK and US: from Sky Sports to HBO hit TV show Entourage, the Hollywood film "Magic Mike" and even inside the Olympic Stadium for London 2012.

To say we're excited to see this man and his full band perform Live is an understatement. Stage about to go Boom!

Then on Level 2, Original Premier Rare Soul N' Funk Tag Team AKA Mssrs Snowboy and Perry Louis embark on another 7 hour marathon to find and deliver the absolute finest in funk on 45. Grooves to make you go damn!

Level 3 - The Northern Soul Room. Your hosts The Legendary Rob Messer, Modern lovers Craig Jamieson and Cclaire Kalvis drop more seismic northern soul vibrations of epic proportions on yehs.

The Slst 4 Floor Line up completed by Basement Super Soul Bowl residents - First Word Founder Gilla & Wah Wah 45 DJs. Delivering the soul, the whole soul and nothing but the soul on 45, so much More.

Time to keep getting it on!
