Escape to a rural Ukrainian idyll, an oasis of cushions, rugs and home comforts by entering our enchanting space laced with performances, music, and a kitchen stocked with vodka, hot tea and snacks.

Over the course of the weekend, our time-travelling Dacha will move through Tsarist 1913, Socialist 1937, and leap into post Soviet 1997.
Lose yourself throughout in films, dressing up, board games and cards, live music and impromptu theatre performances where audiences can pick up a script and help us bring to life a classic play from the period.
Sip tea from the samovar that keeps on giving, partake in fevered political discussion with special guest experts, and dance to a late night DJ set that draws on a century of Slavic music and culture.
Performance includes Sasha Ilyukevich and the Highly Skilled Migrants, Mazaika Duo, Elena Dana and DJ Penny Metal.

Open all day, audiences can chill out with members of the Dacha family in the comfort of a summer house full of things to read, games to play, films to see, people to talk to, hot tea and vodka to sip, and much more!
Free, no booking required. Suitable for all ages.

Dash Arts Dacha is curated by our co-Artistic Directors Josephine Burton and Tim Supple, designed by Bryan Woltjen and packed with musicians and actors. It forms part of our on-going Soviet Series: an artistic journey through the lands, people, stories, and cultures of the Post Soviet States.
