Teotima and Flying Ibex at Nells Jazz and Blues

Teotima are London’s answer to Snarky Puppy, but with an even more eclectic range of influences; elegant and intricate grooves from West Africa, Cuba and Brazil are infused with a sensibility of classic American soul and funk to create a powerful and immersive show.

Described as an ‘Excellent release’ by BBCR6’s Giles Peterson and ‘Album of the year’ by Jazz FM’s Mike Chadwick, their debut album, Counting The Ways was a vital contribution to London’s fusion jazz soul scene.

The band are always working on new arrangements to bless fans with new sounds so be sure to be a part of Teotima’s return to the stage on May 13th.
