The Sixteen
Harry Christophers conductor

World renowned choir The Sixteen return to Spitalfields performing Allegri’s hauntingly beautiful Miserere, paired with James MacMillan’s highly-charged setting of the same text.

Woven between them is Palestrina’s potent Stabat Mater, a devotional meditation on the Virgin Mary’s grief at Christ’s crucifixion.
